Sustainable Rail Services
In February, we successfully conducted the FAI of our "Copenhagen Project" with customers and end users. Due to the pandemic, this was done via video conference. It was a new experience for everyone.
Customer and end customer were very satisfied with the FAI and with the equipment. This means that the equipment can be built at the Holzkirchen site and delivered from there in March. A great achievement of the team!
The current project includes 20 devices including development services for conversion kits of the installed power semiconductors. Together with the development engineers of PTC Rail OEM, we are preparing the conversion to SiC technology. This will enable us to replace obsolete IGBTs with SiC semiconductors.
Our Rail Services offering is sustainable: equipment and vehicles will continue to be equipped or modernized and have a longer service life.
