SiC based auxiliary power converter PowerBriX (PBX) delivered

With the new PowerBriX inverter generation, we are setting new standards for efficient power supply in rail vehicles.

Vehicle manufacturers worldwide already showed great interest in the PowerBriX low-power auxiliary converter, which was presented for the first time at InnoTrans in 2018.

Innovative semiconductor technology based on silicon (-Si) and silicon carbide (SiC) and an optimised system architecture make our systems particularly compact and lightweight.

The consistently modular design of the product family also offers immense advantages: The PowerBriX modular system is made up of type-tested standard modules, thus significantly reducing configuration and maintenance costs.

At the beginning of this year, the first PBXs were delivered to a vehicle manufacturer in Germany, more will follow!
