Railway Testing of the future – new technologies applied by PTC Industry & Energy

PTC Industry & Energy GmbH has strongly positioned itself in its offer for railway maintenance companies in recent years. Modern train types also require modern test facilities, which PTC addresses with a particularly broad portfolio. Multi-voltage supplies, transmission and drive tests and even more can be delivered together with strong partners, and with customer-specific solutions. Internationally growing rail transport ensures optimal growth prospects.

Coming from a strong base in the German market, PTC Industry & Energy also wants to sell its innovative products in other countries in order to revolutionize railway maintenance internationally. Especially in the growing cross-border train traffic, trains have to be tested even more complexly, which conventional static test systems cannot perform. For example, passenger coaches nowadays must be able to work with different voltages as soon as they cross a national border. We make sure that they still drive reliably - no matter where they run.

Our test systems are complemented by modern energy supply systems, which enable the maintenance companies to optimize their load management and thus their costs. Energy storage systems can decouple consumption and generation and generate maximum energy security. If a workshop also wants to convert its own car or truck fleet to e-mobility, the PTC Energy Storage System also ensures an optimized charging process for the fleet - without expensive infrastructure expansion.
