A star is born: Modular Design for flexible vehicle integration

With the new generation of PowerBriX (PBX) converters PowerTech Converter is setting new standards for efficient on-board power supply in rail vehicles thanks to innovative technology based on Silicon (Si) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductors and an optimized system architecture, PowerTech Converter systems are particularly very compact and lightweight. The consistently modular design of the product family also provides additional advantages: flexible and rapid system configuration to meet customer-specific requirements, and reduced Life Cycle Cost from enhanced maintenance operations with single modules quickly and easily replaced.
